Are you tired of not being able to design as you think, but as the CAD system depicts?

Join Seabrook’s partners, 3D Technology, as they host their second in a series of webinars. This webinar will look at Synchronous Technology: CAD that works in the way designers think. Learn how the tools in Solid Edge have moved on and can help you to create/edit and reuse data possibly faster than the original vendor. Also see how to design with precision and control, whist not being bound by the constraints of conventional modelling.

Topics that will be covered in this webinar include:

  • The ability to do concept modelling then tie down at later stage
  • How to edit other designer’s models without them falling apart
  • How to edit other vendors models as if they were your own
  • How combining history based and Synchronous together gives you even greater freedom when modelling

So join Seabook & 3D Technology on Wednesday August 23rd at 1pm GMT

Webinar on the secrets to achieve excellence in Solid Edge data management

By | News | No Comments

Do you need a better system to manage Solid Edge data?

Even if you have Solid Edge data management today for your engineering work group, it may not be keeping pace with your need to collaborate and share data internally across your company and externally with customers and suppliers.

Product data management (PDM) software brings together the design data of diverse applications and locations into a single, secure system, making it easy for everyone in your business to find and re-use data. Instead of wasting valuable engineering time looking for data, you can instead focus on re-use and optimization of existing designs to lower costs and deliver greater product innovation.

Teamcenter® from Siemens PLM Software, is the world’s most widely implemented product data management (PDM) solution. If you want to get up and running with PDM quickly, Teamcenter Rapid Start is a deployment option for Teamcenter that includes all the basic capabilities you need. With Teamcenter Rapid Start, you can be assured of all the benefits of PDM, based on best practices and a fast implementation methodology. It’s a new way to deliver Teamcenter, and it’s the perfect step to manage Solid Edge designs and data.

Attend the free webinar for secrets to achieve excellence in Solid Edge data management, and get up and running in 2-3 weeks!

Seabrook’s MD Sean O’Sullivan writes guest article for MedTech Intelligence

By | News | No Comments

Seabrook’s Managing Director Sean O’Sullivan has written an insightful guest article on the benefits of paperless manufacturing for medical device manufacturers for MedTech Intelligence.

In the piece, Sean provides a detailed overview of five key benefits for those who make the switch, including enhanced productivity and a reduction in costs.

With constantly changing regulations and growing device complexity, medical device manufacturers need systems such as MES to ensure quality and compliance. Companies that introduce paperless manufacturing have fewer non-conformance issues, increased efficiency and more consistent product quality, allowing them to focus on innovation and improving the end-user experience.
